Whether it is a journey based on your local canal, or further afield on the wonderful rivers and lakes of Cumbria we can offer fun, exciting and challenging canoeing and kayaking activities.
Canoeing and kayaking are ideal for school groups, families, adult groups, company away days, scouts and just about any group that you can think of!
Activity options can include an overnight camp, travelling with all your equipment in your canoe
We can work with people of all abilities – from beginner through to advanced. We work at your level to ensure you progress at a pace that works for you.
We offer recreational paddling or alternatively we can take you on a skills based programme, progressing from placid through to moving water. This can be done in either canoe or kayak. We can offer training and assessment up to BCU (British Canoe Union) 2 Star Award. Please see our courses section for more information.
We have all the equipment needed to spend a day on the water. All our equipment is of very good quality and is fit for purpose – we have everything needed including dry bags. We can also provide catering and can advise on accommodation options in the local area.
A day of canoeing and kayaking is ideal for a team building activity, skills development or a great family day out. We also offer sea kayaking – either on inland lakes, off the coast near Barrow-in-Furness or further afield in Anglesey or Scotland. See our separate page for more details on what we can offer.
