Yamba UK offer The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) Expedition and Residential programmes in the North West of England. As an Approved Activity Provider for the award we have all the necessary expertise and qualifications to ensure we run a rewarding, challenging and beneficial programme for you.
Our range of programmes includes
- Bronze, Silver and Gold Walking Training/Assessment (closed groups)
- Gold Walking Practice and/or Qualifier
- Gold Multi-activity Residential programme
We can also offer canoeing at all levels.
We use a local centre for our Residential programmes in the UK, and can base our Walking programmes in various venues for example the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District or the Ribble Valley. All the programmes that we run meet the appropriate criteria as stipulated by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award office. Our Residential programme has a variety of activities including rock climbing, canoeing, mountain day and/or ghyll scrambling.
Our team of staff will ensure that you are safe at all times, and that you have every opportunity to complete your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme successfully.
