Our experienced team of instructors can deliver a wide range of activities for school, college and youth groups, ranging from half days to full BTEC Units as part of the Outdoor Adventurous Activities Programme (see below).
We will plan and deliver an activity programme that meets your aims and objectives – taking into account practicalities such as the age of the participants, how far you can travel, how much time you have available, whether it is a standalone activity or part of a long term programme – basically whatever we need to consider to ensure your time is well used. Our activities for schools are planned and run in line with the National Curriculum, and for any activity we focus on communication skills, confidence building and respect for others and equipment as a minimum.
Activities can be in a variety of remote or wild environments (see Adventurous Activities), or we offer a mobile service where we bring activities to you. We can also provide activity residentials – either camping or in a local activity centre.
We are an Approved Activity Provider with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme and as well as our Walking and Canoeing DofE packages, we can offer sea kayaking expeditions either in the UK or in Thailand. We also run a Gold multi-activity residential programme (5 days/4 nights), and Expeditions at all levels of The Award (walking, canoeing or sea kayaking). We can provide the training, practice, Qualifying Expedition or all three. See our separate Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Page for more details of what we offer.
“Thank you so much for our canoeing day. Can’t obviously sum up what a brilliant day we had. Fantastic team, such a privilege to have ‘coincidentally’ bumped into you”. T Merritt, Deputy Head, Cuerden Primary School, Preston.
